Sometimes Bullshit can work to one's advantage. If you call your rock band the Bare Naked Ladies one might just think that it consisted of several young hopefully attractive women with no clothes on holding various musical instruments and singing. One would be wrong because of -the Bullshit factor.
If you were a male and hear that tickets were selling for a Bare Naked Lady performance why shucks you might just buy one. Certain expectations might build. Then you arrive at the venue and son of a gun there are a bunch of hairy guys on stage! True they do an excellent performance but ...you might have been hoping for more.
There is an excellent write up on BNL at Wikipedia Well worth reading. An amazing group of Canadians with a typical canuck sense of humour. Ed Robertson one of the founding members also has an excellent TV show called Ed's Up. on OLN where he flys around and tries out various jobs. Its interesting and entertaining. I caught the one about the time he worked a shift in a Pig processing plant and it was hilarious and gave a whole new meaning to makin bacon.
