As if the people who post bullshit are not bad enough - we have the people that read it too! Its hard to believe! Don't they have better things to do with their time? Apparently not- it would seem. I guess bullshit wouldn't be bullshit if nobody was there to say it was.
Sort of like the tree falling in the forest with nobody to see it fall -did it really fall? So if the bullshit piles up and nobody is there to see it is it really bullshit? Now I don't know!
How much time do you spend on the internet per month? Are you happy with the results? Could you have spent the time in a more constructive and enjoyable way? How does that time compare with the time you spend with your kids, spousal unit and friends? Are they any chores you have delayed due to the time you are spending on-line? What have you really achieved on line? How much does it cost you - for you computer, software, internet connection etc?
These are the sort of questions I find I need to ask myself every once in a while. I have been using computers since they first came out and I find that I am now spending way too much time on them and so now I prefer to do other things. Everyone needs to make up their own mind. The danger appears to be that a lot of us are using the internet as a type of drug and we spend horrendous amounts of time in what is really a virtual world. The time goes by and suddenly one day like Rip Van Winkle we wake up to discover in shock that we are old and fat and we have squandered our time and youth online. Like that would happen!
